The Colombian Association of Geologists and Geophysicists of Colombia, ACGGP, is a nonprofit association whose objectives:
- To promote interaction among professionals involved in the Earth Sciences, both personal, technically and socially.
- Promote ethical and professional fees of behavior among its members.
- Promote technical knowledge related to oil industry.
- Promote the spirit of scientific inquiry and free exchange of ideas relating to exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons.
