UNICORE (Uniform Interface to COmputing REsources) is a so-called Grid software for easy and intuitive access to the JSC supercomputing resources. Both the comfortable graphical user interface and the command line client provide various functionality to create computing jobs, submit them to the super computers and, finally, to analyse the results locally again. Also, UNICORE allows to generate complex workflows. An installation and configuration instruction of the various clients will be given. Detailed practical examples and exercises will also be part of the agenda. A special focus will be on the integrated parallel application support.
