LinkSCEEM project has participated in the 9th SESAME user meeting that was held in Amman 12-14 Nov 2011. Three presentations were planned for the session devoted to LinkSCEEM. One presentation was replaced by open discussion on the LinkSCEEM project. The topics of both presentations and discussion focus on the opportunity of LinkSCEEM HPC to SESAME and Synchrotron Radiation users.

During the presentation, the attendees of the 9th User meeting were eager and interested in earning the benefits of such HPC facilities, call for proposals are open and offered to the users. Research Network infrastructure was introduced by JUNET (LinkSCEEM partner). The connectivity between CYI and SESAME showed up that HPC will not only enrich SESAME as international research lab but also enhance the scientific research in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
