Blue Waters

On February 6th 2009 Prof. Thom Dunning gave a presentation on the current state of the art as regards petascale computing. In particular, he outlined the goals of the Blue Waters project at NCSA which aims to bring petascale application performance (as opposed to benchmark performance) to scientific computing.
